Painted most of my life and took lessons with Marg Hodgson in Toronto but became more serious after retiring from the Sherrif's Dept in Toronto when I had more time. Love to paint in the winter and like trying new ideas.
Favorite Music:
A passion for big band, Glen Miller, Tommy Dorsey as well as some Rock like Rod Stewart, Rolling Stones (who I got to travel with while touring Canada) basically love the swing days when music was music.
Thank's Robert - I can't get over the amount of talented people I'm associated with. It's wonderful to see all the different styles and mediums. Hope to see you soon when the group starts getting back together.
Hi Ken. Thanks for the friendship link. I'm glad you have posted a number of your works on the network. Previously I had only see the few pieces you brought to the Ajax Show ans Sell. You have a very interesting and eyecatching style.
I just got back from 3 days in the Ontario hinterland, away from the internet, and just got your invitation to join your network of friends. And I accept and thank-you for the gracious invitation!
Hi, Regarding the gourds. To dry them they must be left out in the elements from fall to the next spring or summer. They can be on a porch where the air circulates, but the snow and rain etc all adds to them getting a hard shell. Check out www.northerndipper.com . It is a great web site. Their newsletter shows wonderful art.
