My photographic journey began in 1988 where on a trip to Calgary, prior to the Olympics, I saw the mountain scapes and upon my return, quickly joined the Pickering Camera Club & secured the title of Photographer of the Year in 1990. In 2001 my photographic journey lead me to win the Ajax Photographer of the Year with Blacks Superstore. In 2005, I was nominated for the Ajax Civic Award for my volunteer work with Neighbourhood Watch, while working full time, and wearing many hats as many women do today. I have enjoyed my recent two-year membership with the Oshawa Camera Club and the friendships and mentorship accrued. I enjoy photographing in challenging environments where I am forced to observe and push my senses further and out of my comfort zone.

Hi Tina. Thanks for the encouragement. This is a hoby for me along with painting and a few other diversions. Photography is a good partner for painting especially with a digital camera. It provides a source for potetial panitnings while giving me lots of opportunity to study compostion.
I am impressed with your varied endevours.and accommplishments. Bob
Hi Tina. Welcome to the Network. Anxious to see some of your work dispalyed. I joined here as an watercolour artist but am quite happy taking photos as well. I'm interested in taking my photo hobby to the next level. Any suggestions? Bob
