A Dead Poet and a self



Rest assured –

There is little hope here

Broken glass

Shattered mirrors

A scar



It is all replaceable

With another drug

With another fix



Light only shines on things worth looking at, as you say

But not you now

You later, with the new drug you will be worth

Just a poem I wrote

I wrote a poem over the weekend:

Note: my poems don't necessarily rhymn. I tend to use a stream of consciousness method. Writing spontaneously what enters my mind at the particular moment. I wrote this after a difficult conversation I had with someone I love.

Indescribable by words - just background noise now.
