I grew up in Highland Creek. Graduated Cedarbrae
Highschool Commerical Art Course then worked almost 10 years as commercial artist. Started as artist for Sears then for Toronto Insititute of Medical Technology. Took some Durham College, Danforth Tech and local art courses. Mostly self taught. I started doing portraits at home with 3 children for next 15 years. Lived 32 years in Pickering Village, worked 16 years for Pickering Public Library. Belong to NAG Northumberland Art Group and PRAA in Cobourg. Enjoy watercolours, oils, pastels and coloured pencils. Moved to Bewdley on Rice Lake.

I like a variety of music from the Beatles and John Williams and I direct and sing in church choir. I have to say my favorite music is my husband's pipe organ and son Aaron's versitile music both musicians and composers. www.aaronbales.com
Favorite Books:
I love children's picture books and have enjoyed many during the 16 years as a storyteller at the library. I prefere reading non-fic.

Nice to hear from you. Glad you're all settled in and sounds like you have a wonderful spot...especially for painting! Are getting lots of painting done? Our Christmas supper is Dec. 11th if you get a chance to be in the area.

Think you said before you had joined an art group out that way. Do you happen to know a Rosemary Freeman in your art travels?
Quite a few new people in our club,seems to be really busy the last few weeks. Cyril is still turning out beautiful pictures.
